Foreign Language Graduate Credits for Teachers

Sometimes school districts require that in order for teachers to become recertified, they must have so many graduate credits to put towards their application for recertification. Well, I've found a few affodable graduate credits generally offered by partnerships between community-serving organizations and universities.

Annenburg Learner Formerly Annenburg Media, this organization offers teacher workshops and professional development in English, Writing, Foreign Languages amongst others. Through a partnership with Colorado State University, students can download the lessons and submit the work in order to receive credit for as low as $187.

Participants can then apply for graduate credit with a partnership with University of the Pacific. In-person classes start at $190 and online classes start at $99.00. The 2-credit graduate course from the University of the Pacific is $158.00 and is offered by their department of continuing education.
