Professional development: Summer 2018 "History of the Americas: Mexican Revolution & Nation-Building in Mexico City, Mexico"

Once again Stanford University is offering a teacher institute abroad.  Summer 2018's Teacher Institutes Abroad Series is titled "History of the Americas: Mexican Revolution & Nation-Building" in Mexico City, Mexico.

 It runs from July 24 - August 1, 2018 and the cost is $1,000.  However, there is a financial aid award of $400 per each teacher.  Prospective applicants are required to submit their resume, statement of interest and letter of reference.

The application deadline is February 28, 2018. I am very partial to the histories of Mexico.  I love their languages, cultures and definitely the cuisine.  If I weren't expecting this summer, I would be very inclined to go!
