Professional Development: The African Presence in Mexico: K-12 Teachers Workshop at the National Museum of Mexican Art, Chicago, IL

The National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago, IL in conjunction with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is hosting an all-day workshop on Afro-Mexicans on February 4 from 10 am - 1 pm. I would have loved to attend; however, I learned about it too late.  Hopefully, they will incorporate this content in a future summer teacher workshop.  I hope that those who can attend can take advantage of this opportunity!  And best of all, it is FREE!
