2017 Foreign Service Language Academy at the University of North Georgia
If you have high school students who are interested in learning Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, the University of North Georgia has a summer program for them.
It is called the Foreign Service Language Academy and it is offered every year at the University of North Georgia. Students do not have to have previous knowledge of these languages, as they offer first and second year course work. Students in Georgia who are interested in attending a four-year college can ideally finish the two years of the same language rule for entrance in a state university in Georgia.
This year the program runs from June 11-30 for the first session and July 9 -28 for the second session. The cost is $1,895 for session and scholarships are available.
