What an interesting time to be a World Language Professional!
Greetings World Languages Teachers!
This year year has brought a monkey's wrench to the world, halting us in our plans our dreams, our ideas. At my full-time job as a teacher, in March we were thrown into E-learning, no training, no background, nothing! For teachers like myself who have spent years on online learning, this was not an issue, but for others, who have never taught online, this was difficult. It is now going into summer time, southern schools are wrapping up the school year, while northern schools are still in the brunt of it.
Amidst the deaths of family members, community members and others, there is a silver lining, that for those of us who are privileged enough to be healthy and alive, world language training has opened up all over the country. Teacher training that we maybe could have not attended before are hosting online teacher institutes. I am more than excited. Here are a few that I have found that I want to share with you!
